Margaret River is one of the most world renowned regions when it come to great Cabernet Sauvignon. Our Golden Mile Cabernet Sauvignon was created with this in mind. Named after the Golden Mile in Kalgoorlie/Boulder, which was once considered the richest square mile on earth, having produced 60 million ounces of gold and counting – the name is a reflection of the sheer quality of our Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as our family’s heritage.
The fruit is handpicked from a selected block on our single site vineyard and processed over our sorting table into small format fermentation vessels where each is managed individually. Using high quality Bordeaux oak barriques to build structure and finesse within the wine, the batches are left to mature for a minimum of 18 months before only the very best barrels are selected to create this iconic style of Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon. Only a total of 90 cases were bottled.
Boasting aromas of violets, dark cassis and cocoa powder which flows through to the palate where you are met by an intensity of blueberries, mulberries, red florals and dark chocolate. It’s distinctive, rich and succulent with balanced fine tannins. Will drink well now or can age for up to 15 years
